So why should you pay a little more when you can run to one of the Big Box stores and get a cheaper lure?
Well there are a lot of manufacturers out there that sell lures similar in size to mine for much less but also some for much more, but there are big differences between Sling It Lures and theirs.
First of all, mine are all hand made. My lures are hand poured with a high-impact resistant polyurethane plastic, hand painted and finished with a 2-ton epoxy finish for an exceptionally strong, ridged body.
What is so great about that?
The reason I find my bodies far superior compared to mass production lures is because a Sling It Lure is a solid body. Most lure brands are hollow, two-piece, snapped and glued together. Ever have an expensive lure fill up with water and end up sinking to the bottom? Its because a lot of times those don't get glued water tight. Sling It Lures solid body construction will never leak and always maintain its designated buoyancy.
Another benefit to solid body construction is the added weight. Since the lure is solid there is more weight but the weight doesn't affect the buoyancy. That added weight makes for longer casting distances.
